Wheel Yoga

Each class will use the wheel as the main tool to assist in performing various stretching and strengthening postures. The yoga wheel is a very useful tool for backbends. When used to support the back, it effectively strengthens the chest and lumbar muscles and avoids the pressure on the lumbar spine during backbends, which is especially effective for those with a stiff lower back and tense shoulder muscles.

Wheel Stretch

Wheel Stretch is a yoga backbend pose. Lie on your back, lift your hips, and create an arched shape with your body. This pose improves flexibility and strengthens the arms, legs, and chest.

Yin Yang Yoga

Hatha Yoga and Yin Yang Yoga are added to each class to provide practitioners with a class that emphasizes both strength and flexibility. Yin Yang Yoga focuses on muscle control and strength training for all parts of the body, as well as improving cardiorespiratory fitness and metabolism; while Yin Yoga focuses on muscle stretching, releasing the hip joints and the hip bones.
The practice of Yin Yoga focuses on muscle stretching, releasing the tension in the muscles around the hips and spine, and using breathing and relaxation to enter into a deep stretch. Through the two different yoga practices, Yin and Yang, the body's energy gradually becomes balanced and stabilized.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow and introspective practice that involves holding poses for an extended time. It targets deep tissues, promotes flexibility, and brings relaxation and balance.
